It's not clear to me that Obama is solution to identity politics. The actions of his administration seemed to embody identify politics. Eric Holder was the most blatantly racist Attorney General in my lifetime.

He's being cool and enjoying the celebrity circuit. He is right in letting the current incumbents and candidates sort things out.
