Opinion: Our children will suffer if adults can't get school Covid precautions right

We will not be lighting up cigarettes in our children's classrooms. I don't expect my child's teacher to light up a cigarette in his or her classroom either. The thought sounds ludicrous to most of us. Why? Because secondhand smoke has been proven to kill. Comilla SassonThink of being unvaccinated like being a smoker who is spreading their secondhand smoke. Let's call it secondhand SARS-CoV-2 . It is bad for the person who has it and terrible for the innocent bystanders who are now exposed to this highly contagious infectious disease that can make them very sick. The problem is, unlike secondhand smoke, the virus is colorless, odorless, and doesn't create the physical cloud to let you know you are exposed.

Opinion Kids HAVE suffered because Dem politicians are bought & paid for by Teachers Unions whose leadership has wanted to remain in remote learning. Dem politicians won’t say/do anything to upset the Union, so kids suffer. Go with the $/votes and to hell with kids! The Dem way!

Opinion But we aren’t really seeing “more children die from COVID-19 than the flu”. We have the data. So far about 330 kids have died from Covid, and 180 in the same span from the flu. Every death is a tragedy but statistically the difference is insignificantly
