One Stardew Valley 1.6's Feature Turns Your House Into A Sanctuary

Summary Stardew Valley may encourage players to look after as many farm animals as possible but when it comes to owning cats, one fan managed to create a sanctuary of feline friends. Over the course of their life in Pelican Town, farmers are able to take care of pets that largely just spend their days walking around the property and drinking from their water bowls. Previously, farmers were only allowed a single cat or dog but the recent 1.

Posted to Reddit by user mcloafin69, the player details their joy at learning that they can stock their farm with as many pets as they want by sharing an image of their house filled with over 250 cats. The screenshot is both adorable and chaotic as cats litter every inch of the massive house with the majority seemingly clustering around the fireplace or in the player's bedroom. It gives the impression of an aforementioned animal sanctuary or even a rescue farm as the cats no doubt explore the property during the day but it's doubtful they do anything to keep the crows away.
