And then there were ten. Police set out to catch a woman suspected of stuffing a sweater in her purse and leaving without paying for it April 25 at a Bainbridge Township sporting goods store. After speaking to her she admitted to the theft of the suspected sweater.

An Akron woman, 40, faces theft charges after an employee saw her stuff a sweater in her purse April 25 and leave the Dick’s Sporting Goods store without paying for it. An officer intercepted her outside the store where she admitted to taking the one sweater. However, a search revealed she had 10 more clothing items from the store all stuffed in the pants and shirt she was wearing. The total value of the items is $620. Police cited her for theft.Called 5 p.m.
