The shooting took place around the corner from the Oakland Islamic Center, after they concluded sunset prayer on Monday. There were around 60-70 people at the mosque for the gathering, ready to break their fast when the shots rang out. "Brother Bilal, from Eritrea, was a very nice gentleman. Me and him did a pilgrimage to Mecca," he said."He was very cheerful, a very happy individual, and very helpful to the community. He used to bring bread and flowers every Friday to give to the parishioners as they leave the mosque. And Asam was very nice, a gentle individual."

Think of the bigger picture. Consider your passions when choosing or renegotiating a career path. Follow your passion to find the right job. However, once in a role, be careful not to relentlessly pursue your own interests. Instead, figure out what is valued and needed inside the organization, and then work passionately to achieve it. That shift in perspective is fantastic. I found that rewards schedules work the best.
