Detectives were investigating Friday morning after police found a woman’s body in a garbage bag at an apartment in the Bronx Thursday afternoon.
According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call at a building on the Grand Concourse near East 140th Street in Mott Haven at around 1:45 p.m.First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene, and police said four people were arrested in connection with the incident – though they hadn’t yet been charged with a crime by Friday morning.
Police did not immediately release the woman’s identity, but officials said she was not from New York State and may have been visiting friends.
