Yesterday was a bad day for Grubhub. The food delivery service launched a free lunch promotion for people in New York City. And spoiler alert: it backfired.

Didn't this happen to KFC way back and 16 MILLION people showed up?

I bet more than one person at GrubHub HQ said this isn't a good idea because of X,Y,Z and they ignored the person because of their pay grade and continued anyways.

What an incredibly stupid idea. You don’t have to be a rocket 🚀 scientist to know what a disaster it would be.

As someone who's tried most of the gig apps, GrubHub is by far the most worthless. There's another one that's pretty bad, but I'm not allowed to say their name in public anymore.

It's like the planners of this Apocalypse are just fucking with us at this point.

How very moronic. You offer customers the $15 off coupon to use once at any time during a specified period. Stretch it out over 2 weeks. Fools.

Stupid planning lead to lackluster results. Go figure

Nope, yesterday was a bad day for RESTAURANTS.

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesThis is what the GOP wants to go back to. The good old days, when america was great. 🤮 So others dont have to click the bait, the 'crimes' are claimed to be 'Drunkenness, waywardism, disobedience to their parents, being out at night by themselves, wearing pants, accepting a date from a man, accepting a ride from a man.' The pants claim is obvious horseshit. Like beating up girlfriends in high T rage?

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesYou're right. My sense is once they start arresting people for an abortion, the majority are going to be women of color. Imagine being sent to prison over a right women have had for 50 years. Mind-boggling. If you die while trying to kill your baby it's your fault. Bye A minority of this country is forcing its will on the majority. This isn’t going to go well

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesReminder: Abortions save women’s lives. I was party to a full molar pregnancy. Not a good time but grateful that dilation and curettage was an option Any human being that has a child will face economic drain to care for that child and have increased stress through that child’s life. What a dumb article. Maybe we should cease to exist and procreate for our own selfish lifestyles!
