This is a ridiculous argument. There are problems in these communities, and instead of trying to solve their problems, they find excuses and look for others to blame.

NPR..why not cover the 131 murders so far this year in Chicago alone? Is it because Black on Black murders do not count? Only murders involving police and whites deserve media coverage? 131 murders, multiple times the reported “mass shooting” or police related deaths.

Weird. White cops on mostly white police forces in mostly white cities and towns kill more unarmed whites - even though they look like their communities. Really odd. I wonder if maybe all of this is far more complex than commonly portrayed, and it's not simply a matter of racism?
