Beginning Friday night, there is a 20% chance of of thunderstorms that will come through the Cleveland area, according to forecasts by the National Weather Service.
However, the chance of thunderstorms will increase to 60% by the early hours of Saturday. And by 1 p.m., the forecast says it will be 100%. The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Saturday due to the potential of damaging winds, with tornados and hail being a possibility. There is also a chance of flooding in the early afternoon where rain is most expected.By Sunday, it is expected to pass. The forecast for the last day of the weekend is a high of 73 degrees with mostly sunny skies. At night, the skies will stay clear and hit a low of 58 degrees.
Looking ahead, showers are expected to return Tuesday night and continue on Wednesday and into Independence Day.
