"The 1619 Project" author read excerpts from Dr. King's speeches without telling anyone that she was doing so, leading the audience to think King's words were hers.

Y'all just gonna make a story about somebody without speaking to them? Is that what we're calling good journalism these days?

But his words are so iconic that people should know the author when spoken. Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt and increase our standard for society.
