Mt. Wilson Observatory again under threat from Bobcat fire: More crews move in to defend

For weeks, firefighters on the Bobcat fire have been hindered by steep, rocky terrain within the Angeles National Forest, which made it difficult for large mechanical equipment to reach several front lines of the blaze.

PS - here was my source: One can zoom in and out - click on the fire icons and then continue to 'more' info. Most all of the recent fires in TX are in the 1-2K acre range - largest one is around 11K acres.

Re: Man-made 'global' warming, AGW. Why is it that CA is burning up because of AGW but Texas which has 2 X's the forest area (64mil to 34mil acres) and all wildfires (a handful) are 100% contained, or out, except for 1 (it's 95% contained)? TX has more extreme drought at present
