There are several EV-charging network providers currently in the market: EVgo, Blink, ChargePoint, Volta, Wallbox and Electrify America, which is owned by Volkswagen. These companies maintain, build, operate or lease their equipment to businesses, individuals and governments and offer subscription services to members.
EVgo has been partnering with major retailers like Safeway, Albertsons, Whole Foods and Kroger to install charging stations in their shopping parking lots. The company also teamed up with General Motors in 2020 to build 2,700 new fast stations over the next five years. "It will push things along but it will take substantially more [money] than that," he told ABC News."Every state is lacking in infrastructure -- even California. We have a massive need for chargers both in the U.S. and globally."A Blink charging station is seen in a Whole Foods grocery store parking garage in Washington, D.C., March 31, 2021.Construction of an EV station can take four to eight weeks, according to Zoi, and the cost depends on the type of charger.
"EVs still take a whole lot of planning. You have to know how long your trip is and carefully plan your charging schedule and locations," he told ABC News."The infrastructure is terrible. The good news is that there are not many EVs on the roads."The ability to charge on the go and travel long distances will move the needle on EV adoption and sales, Brauer said. Yet installing and deploying chargers is a risky business right now.
He added,"Consumers want automakers to curate their charging experience. They want it to be seamless."
Well the guy running the infrastructure program thinks all poor people can afford to just go buy new cars instead of buying gas so he probably just assumes they can afford to toss out the electric car when it's battery runs out and just buy another car
And you all want to take away my car I drive less than 20 miles a month (grocery store only). I don't drive for fun.
You can plug them into your own home at night. Its not that difficult to understand. Most vehicles sit in the drivway or garages for 12 hours or more anyway.
Most states don't have the electrical infrastructure to support the electricity demand on a mildly hot summer day. In CA, they call it a 'flex alert' when demand is closing in on capacity. How in the hell are they going to support EV charging too?
In the Tesla charging stations are only for Tesla! That should Change!
Perhaps people can charge EVs at home. That is an advantage over gas and diesel. Didn't Elon tell you that?
Yeah how do you take the charger with you from your house when you’re going on a 6 Hour Dr. one way

nORwAy.
Until you get your electric bill. There will be a separate meter for your E vehicle so they can add on all the taxes to your cars energy.
thanks
Those cost $2,500 to install at home.
