MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Some of those events have already started, but the action really kicks into gear on Saturday when the whitewater system officially starts flowing again!
Montgomery Whitewater is a 120-acre world-class outdoor adventure destination anchored by the world’s most technologically advanced whitewater system. Its spring calendar includes concerts, local, national, and international competitions , and family-friendly festival-style events.This spring, on Friday evenings from 6-9 p.m., Montgomery Whitewater will host singers, songwriters, and performers on the patio at Eddy’s restaurant for live music and a breathtaking sunset view over the Alabama River.The official season-opening event will be a shenanigan-filled tribute to St. Patrick’s Day, including rafting and paddling starting at 11:30 a.m.
The Montgomery Whitewater Park is always free to enter, but there is a fee for many of the activities.
