MONTGOMERY, Ala. - An investigation is underway after a large barn fire Saturday evening in Montgomery. According to Montgomery Fire/Rescue, firefighters responded to Fairground Road and Yarborough Street just before 10 p.m. on a possible structure fire.On scene, firefighters found a large barn engulfed in flames and began a defensive attack, declaring a W-3 working fire.
MFR investigators say the barn contained hay bales, as well as equipment and ATVs. No livestock were inside the barn, and both primary and secondary searches found no people, either.The Bureau of Investigations is working to determine the cause of the blaze.kicked-off FridayThe weekend events create opportunities for children through rodeos, livestock competitions, community activities and educational events.
