Moms Demand Action lined up 63 pairs of shoes outside of Christ Church Cathedral to represent the lives lost to gun violence so far in 2023. The group is advocating for legislation to help Hoosiers in a mental health crisis.

INDIANAPOLIS — A mother grieving her child who was taken too soon — a story we are familiar with in Indianapolis.Moms Demand Action did so by lining up 63 pairs of shoes outside of Christ Church Cathedral on Monument Circle — 63 because the group says that is the number of people who have died from gun violence in Indianapolis this year alone.

"We do not do this to make people sad. We are doing this because those victims deserve to be honored and remembered," Simpson said. Moser hopes more people can be encouraged to find a solution to this violence. Moms Demand Action says in their eyes, the solution is simple.Senate Bill 1 would establish a statewide crisis response system to help Hoosiers struggling with a mental health or substance abuse crisis.

What about drug violence?

But what about the pure evil criminals? The ones that know exactly what they are doing and are perfectly sane. More of those killing by them than the nut jobs.

You know why they never place pairs of shoes to represent deaths by drugs (fentanyl) overdoses? Because they couldn’t afford that many pairs of shoes! 106,000 in 2021 alone

So they admit it’s the mental health issues and not the guns? Finally.

We should be doing more to help with the mental health crisis, and keeping guns out of these situations. The best solution, however, is teaching the Fifth Commandment “Thou shall not kill.”

Sick of your non stop leftist propaganda. Unfollow. Go away. Be the local CNN enemy operation if that's your thing. You'll have no audience too.

Shout out to all the trolls for their basic, sad and predictable comments.

You mean, DERANGED DEMOCRAT VIOLENCE? Call it what it is!
