More than 20 states are proposing restrictions on athletics or gender-confirming health care for transgender minors this year. Conservative lawmakers are responding to an executive order by Democratic President Joe Biden that bans discrimination based on gender identity in school sports and elsewhere. Biden signed it Jan. 20, the day he took office.
“This law is a solution in search of a problem, and legislators in Mississippi have not provided any examples of Mississippi transgender athletes gaming the system for a competitive advantage because none exist,” David said. Chase Strangio, a transgender-rights attorney with the national ACLU, said the Mississippi bill “is very vague and seemingly unenforceable.”
The Mississippi Senate passed the bill Feb. 11, and the House passed it March 3. The votes were largely along party lines, with most Republicans supporting the bill and most Democrats either opposing it or refraining from voting.

Biological males have more muscle mass and have no business competing against biological females. It wasn’t so long ago that women were not permitted to compete in sports. They fought long and hard for the right to compete on a level playing field.

A better solution would be that, 'Male to Female Transgender' can only compete in Men's Sports. and 'Female to Male Transgender' can only compete in Female's Sports.

If it's the direction where there would be an unfair advantage I can't really argue against it. I'll fight for their human rights all day but competition is not the same. The opposite direction where they give themselves a disadvantage should be allowed. The league should decide.

As a father of a daughter, I am pleased about this and think there should absolutely be a ban. Not everything is going to be equal if you choose to change genders. As a progressive, I feel bad.
