, citing a report by correspondent Sam Brock, said Heidi Broussard’s mother was told by police that they believe a body found in the trunk of a car in Jersey Village near Houston is Heidi Broussard.
A Houston woman and “close friend” of Heidi Broussard has been charged with kidnapping and evidence tampering, law enforcement sources said. Authorities were able to locate the suspect’s car in Austin around the same time as Broussard’s disappearance, according to law enforcement sources. Broussard was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Dec. 12, when she dropped off a child at Cowan Elementary School in south Austin, police said. Austin police investigators said they believe Broussard and Margot returned to their apartment later that day.
Still a rare crime.
