will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special Music for Mutts benefit concert scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5, at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. The country musician will headline the show with special appearances from friends and collaborators.
“I wanted to do something special to celebrate MuttNation’s 15th anniversary and thought sharing an evening of great music with some great friends that will also feature lots of mutts would be about as much fun as anything I could imagine,” Lambert shared in a statement. The complete Music for Mutts lineup will be announced at a later date. The musician also hinted at “lots of other activities,” referencing her goal to “just make it a big party. I hope everyone will come out and party with us.
“MuttNation’s mission is to support the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay & neuter, and educate the public about the benefits of these actions,” a mission statement on the foundation’s website reads. “MuttNation also works with transport partners to assist and relocate animals during times of natural disaster.”
