Hundreds of workers at McDonald’s Corp. restaurants walked off the job on Thursday to protest what they described as low pay and workplace harassment.
Walkouts prompted operators to close four restaurants in St. Louis, and workers picketed outside a McDonald’s in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Several hundred workers from restaurants in 13 cities left their posts during the breakfast rush, said unions and advocacy groups coordinating their efforts to seek higher pay, labor representation and safer working conditions.

To protest against pay is BS. No one is forcing you to do it. Get a better job, start a business, educate yourself, learn a trade, sell drugs, become a hooker, do what you gotta do to survive. And when you make it like Ronald McDonald did you’ll enjoy it more

The government artificially sets the price of interest rates and now many politicians want to artificially price the cost of a Big Mac by raising labor costs. Its all about skill level and supply vs demand for labor. Right now, supply exceeds demand for burger flippers.

They conflate a potentially real issue (harassment) with the idiotic notion that frontline fast food work is a viable choice for a career and should be paid more than it's worth. Kiosk McDonald's works perfectly well and gets my order right.

democrats are touting this as win in fight for higher minimum wage ... okay ... sure ... as McDonalds installs automated kiosks and cuts workforce ... they can go up on wages and employ less people ... congrats democrats ... you done it again ... put more people on unemployment
