Air Force Base. Police were called out just after 1 a.m. Tuesday to a convenience store along Military Drive West near Old Pearsall Road. Police said the man was in the backseat of a pickup with two other people when another pickup was showing signs of road rage. At some point, someone inside the other pickup opened fire, hitting the victim in the neck.
The other people in the pickup said the shooting happened either on Loop 410 or U.S. Highway 90. Immediately after the shooting, they drove to a nearby convenience store and called for help.
