Man found dead in a Northeast Side parking lot, police said

Police found a 38-year-old man dead with a fatal gunshot wound in a Northeast Side parking lot on Friday. San Antonio police said officers responded to a shooting around 2 a.m. in the 6900 block of Interstate 35 North . They found a man who was unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Police and EMS attempted life saving measures but were unsuccessful. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Alert issued for two kids in Carrizo Springs. Here’s what we know. According to police at the scene, the dead man was a hotel security guard who got into a verbal fight with two people in a car. The security guard first saw them in the back of the hotel. He then followed the individuals to the front of the hotel. That’s when a passenger got out and started pointing a weapon, police said.
