“Full House” star Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are keeping silent as they await sentencing in the college admissions bribery case.

FILE - In this April 3, 2019 file photo, actress Lori Loughlin, front, and husband, clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli, left, depart federal court in Boston after facing charges in a nationwide college admissions bribery scandal. The famous couple pleaded guilty to charges in May 2020, and are scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020.

Loughlin, who gained fame for her role as the wholesome Aunt Becky in the sitcom that ran from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, and Giannulli have not made any public statements since they were charged with paying half a million dollars to get their daughters into the University of Southern California — or surprisingly decided to plead guilty despite their lawyers’ repeated claims that they were innocent.

Unlike most plea agreements, in which the judge remains free to decide the defendant’s sentence, Loughlin and Giannulli’s proposed prison terms are binding if the judge accepts the deals. Before she was sentenced, Huffman filed a lengthy letter to the judge describing how she “deceived the educational community,” “betrayed” her daughter and “failed” her family. Her husband, actor William H. Macy, and her “Desperate Housewives” co-star Eva Longoria alsoLoughlin and Giannulli have taken a decidedly different path. In her first appearance in Boston after her arrest, Loughlin smiled for the cameras, waved at fans outside the courthouse and shook hands with prosecutors inside.

The girls at FCI Dublin are watering at the mouth for Lori to show up

It is insane that states are releasing violent criminals (over COIVD19 concerns) who kill others on release, yet imprison non-violent criminals (Full House Lori Loughlin and Mossimo) for paying bribes to get their kids in some 'big-name' (USC?) college. Fine them, but jail?

This is a non-violent crime. Charge them a hefty fine ($350,000), but no jail time as they are no violent threat to others.

I know what she did is wrong and I think it’s despicable but I still don’t understand why this is illegal. If I bribe the hostess at a restaurant to jump to the front of a waiting list is that illegal too? Not being facetious

Allen58B Rich people need to start doing time at regular prisons. Not the country club Federal joints. Starting with Aunt Becky

20 years in Federal prison would be good.

I have never ever seen Lori keep silent hnmmm

DIYMikes I hope she’s not smirking in the end. Getting tired of their kind of people escaping just punishment.

How is this news?

I’m so sick of rich people.

Who says you can’t try to buy respect?

college admissions Ken and Karen

I'm sure they'll do less time in prison than they do on one of their typical vacations. Yawn! Good thing they weren't smoking week or something while poor!

Is that the fonz now?

15 months no parole

I’ll bet. Wait and see how they walk.

Better be more than 6 months and not 2 weeks bc of covid

Can't blame them - whatever they say, the twisted media will edit and or only post portions of their comments to fit whatever they want them to say

Breaking News!!

What he did?

I bet it will be house arrest and community service

ANYONE NEEDS A BILL COVERED DURING THIS CRISIS❓👀💰

Lol do they have another choice?
