Lily Rabe and Timothėe Chalamet's Scenes Together Are the Heart of the Movie The most memorable part of the film is the dynamic between Lily Rabe's Miss Stevens and Timothée Chalamet's Billy. While viewers eventually learn that Rachel is grieving the loss of her mother after confiding in Billy, he is struggling with his own mental health. Billy initially gravitates towards Rachel and wants to spend more time with her, as he can sense that she is struggling as well.
