Texas leaders are given a $20 billion surplus to spend in the 2025 Legislature. Readers tell The Watchdog how they want the money spent.Then I asked readers, citizens of my Watchdog Nation, how our leaders should divvy up the $20 billion. Remember this is in addition to a separate Rainy Day fund of $23.7 billion.and by that, I don’t mean more roads, but repairing roads and bridges, as well as utilities.
