Journey has just released the first single from its forthcoming new album.
The track — “You Got the Best of Me” — can be streamed/downloaded through Amazon, Apple, Spotify and other music sites. The single hails from “Freedom,” the Bay Area classic rock band’s first studio album of all new material in more than a decade. The album is due out July 8 via BMG. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act, which has 25 gold and platinum albums to its credit, performed a big hometown show in March before a full house at Chase Center in San Francisco. Toto was also on the bill.
