Want an 800hp 911 Turbo, plus tan leather and a ducktail? Techart to the rescue...

in Porsche parlance: same mechanical package, with a slightly more restrained look. So popular was its return for the old 991 that the current Touring Package seems more in demand than having a GT3 with a wing. Just look at how the world fawned over the

, too. Seemingly inspired by both those cars, Techart now has just announced something it’s calling the GTstreet R Touring. . Standard spec is just the 60hp more than a Turbo S, though that does mean 710hp; alongside 664lb ft, or a 74lb ft uplift, it’s going to be plenty fast enough. Or there’s the 800hp version, of course, with Techart’s turbos, ECU work and ‘optimised engine management. They say it’ll do 217mph, passing 62mph before you can say 'Techart GTstreet R Touring'.

With the RS-style vent at the front wheelarches, prominent rear diffuser and near-vertical spoiler, this clearly isn’t a 911 to just blend in with every other. On the other hand, the average passer-by may not immediately twig the hypercar humbling potential.

Techart has ticked off all the Touring must-haves inside as well, with every surface adorned by leather, carbon, aluminium or Alcantara for a ‘luxurious yet sporty ambience’. Every converted GTstreet R gets the Techart steering wheel, but those going all out will want the interior package with even more leather, embossed details, custom stitching and ‘heritage fabrics’. Presumably, that’s the spec seen in these images.

The tuner says it will convert 25 examples of the 911 Turbo S to GTstreet R Touring spec, with prices starting at €98,250, or a little less than £84k. That really is just the start, though, as that number doesn’t include tax, paint, or installation, plus it’ll be just the 710hp and without the jazziest interior.
