Three people were wounded after shots rang out at an East Los Angeles restaurant overnight, and three Los Angeles County deputies were also hospitalized after their cruisers collided while they were en route.It all started shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, when the LASD received calls about gunshots at Los Arcos Restaurant on Whittier Boulevard.
One of the cruisers was sent into a building and the second was hit by a light pole that had been knocked over. Surveillance footage from a nearby business captured the moment of the crash. All three deputies in the two cruisers were taken to the hospital, according to the LASD.When deputies did get to the shooting scene, they found two shooting victims at the restaurant. A third victim was found in a truck at the other scene.
