Lake of the Ozarks pool partier tests positive for coronavirus

The mid-Missouri resident visited a pool party venue featured in widely circulated video this week.

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri -- A week after images of Memorial Day weekend revelers jammed into a Lake of the Ozarks pool party at Backwater Jack's Bar & Grill in Osage Beach made international headlines, the Camden County Health Department announced that a Boone County resident tested positive for the novel coronavirus after visiting the Lake of the Ozarks area over the holiday weekend.

The infected person"was likely incubating illness and possibly infectious at the time of the visit," the health department said. The Boone County Health Department is investigating, and Camden County said no cases had been reported this week.

Why even report on it? It was an obvious conclusion and should not surprise anyone

Is this a serious question when there are pictures of looters in Minnesota burning down Minneapolis? This is obviously a great picture compared to that.
