En su nuevo libro “The Great Peace: A Memoir”, la actriz Mena Suvari reveló que fue víctima de violación por primera vez cuando tenía 12 años, y después en sexto grado por un amigo de uno de sus hermanos mayores.
"Él me usó, se divirtió conmigo y luego se deshizo de mí. Me llamó ‘puta’. Nunca logré desarrollar una expresión saludable respecto al sexo después de eso. Mi elección se perdió ese día. Eso estableció el concepto que tendría después sobre mí misma, que ese era mi valor” señaló la actriz a la revista.
