Pitted against the nation’s top rebounding team in the Crimson Tide, UH wound up with a 21-18 advantage on the boards in the second half.Offensively, the Cougars struggled down the stretch, missing nine of their final 11 shots and producing just one field goal in the last 5 1/2 minutes. For the game, UH was 12-of-22 from the free-throw line.
