Is the U.S. economy really heading for a recession? Here's what economists think

Many economists agree that the U.S. is, for now, not in a recession. The most recent gross domestic product report published last week showed the U.S. economy In fact, the economy may now be in a sweet spot. That low unemployment rate is a result of low workforce participation. And low workforce participation is pushing up wages. Those higher wages are causing higher prices. In other words: Low unemployment bad.
