Houston First is targeting tourism growth, said Holly Clapham, chief marketing officer at Houston First. “Typically when we connect with countries, we focus on two main areas. One, we look for emerging technology in the healthcare space and that could be new drugs, it could be new medical devices or digital health solutions,” McKeon said. “The other area we focus on is looking at industry partnerships." He added that there are"many large pharmaceutical developers in Mexico that may be looking to build biomedical capabilities in the United States.
