When we were hiking there in May, the crews were busy removing dead trees from prior fires, but nothing the scope of this Oak fire.

UPDATE: Evacuation orders are in place for over 6,000 residents across the Sierra Nevada foothills due to the Oak Fire near California's Yosemite National Park
