In brief: East Bay SPCA plans to expand services with new $200,000 grant

As the East Bay SPCA celebrates 150 years, the organization’s leaders are proud to announce having received a transformative $200,000 multiyear grant from PetSmart Charities, a commitment poised to make a significant impact on the region’s pet care landscape.This generous grant is part of PetSmart Charities’ broader initiative, pledging $100 million nationwide over the next five years to enhance access to veterinary care for the estimated 50 million U.S.
