Soreau is the only fruit carver amongst the 17,000 staff at Disneyland Paris and none of the Mouse's 12 other parks employ anyone else in this role. It is so unique that Soreau was recently featured in One Day at Disney, a book showcasing some of the most unusual jobs done by the park staff who are known as Cast Members due to the role they play in a themed environment.
The diversity of their origin is matched by the range of their roles. Disneyland Paris is home to 500 careers from engineers and plumbers to boilermakers and stained-glass restorers. They cast a powerful spell.
