The Emmy- and Tony-winning Kristin Chenoweth took back her power:

a massive piece of equipment attached to metal rods suspended around 30 feet in the air, fell on Kristin Chenoweth. She was knocked unconscious, slammed into the ground and had a skull fracture, a cracked nose, torn ligaments and sustained injuries to her ribs, head and neck.“That kicked everything into high gear for me,” says Chenoweth. “But I pushed it down emotionally and dealt with it privately because I was scared. I didn't want people to think I couldn't do my job.

As part of the initiative artist Trina Merry and the American Chronic Pain Association are illustrating stories of individuals living with chronic pain in a unique way. Merry, who suffers from chronic pain herself, met with Chenoweth and seven others living with chronic pain. Using Merry’s body paint technique, she was able to paint and articulate the essence of their unique experiences and struggle.
