Charlie Rangel was censured....really taught him a lesson.... /sarcasm

ha, ain't that a kick in the head!! TERM LIMITS!!!

This, again, proves Democratic leadership supports white supremacy as much (maybe more) than the GOP.

Because there's one rule of law for the Elite and another for everybody else. TheDemocrats we are comming for Our rights and You are in the way!

ggreenwald Congressional members are no more privileged than any other American citizen as far as 'free speech' goes. That's called democracy.

With Democrats like these, who needs Republicans?

Same Democrats who's members in the Senate voted to make protest against Israel illegal.

LMAO!!! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Democratic National Party.

Maybe their goddamned speech NEEDS policing. I realize you elitist media types don't understand that we peons are sick and tired of these fat cats getting away with anything and everything they care to do and that you wouldn't care if you did but that's the way it is.

deathrep

Dear God can we please get some new blood up in here. These old hacks aren't cutting it.

this seems like something dem leadership would fight for. they can't understand why people don't trust them

Uh... there SHOULD be precedent for policing members' speech when it condones racism & such. This is EXACTLY what censuring is supposed to do.

'OLD' Democratic leaders.

ggreenwald Perfect because they know their own... Maxine, etc

ggreenwald There’s a legitimate free speech worry in this regard. King is a racist but he needs to be voted out. He’s been condemned just give it til 2020 and him and trump can both go

ggreenwald DNC and SpeakerPelosi are only trying to squash his censure in hopes he wins his primary, then will lose to a Democrat in his general election....

jesus christ

ggreenwald Dont want to open the door for reciprocity.

Thank u to the democratic leaders for protecting the nazi

ggreenwald Censuring an opinion is wrong and violates the First Amendment. Voters must ask for him to resign or force a re-election. If the voters don’t care or admire that racist attitude that Steve King has, he is successfully representing his base 🤷🏻‍♂️

ggreenwald Seriously?! Grow a back bone! Try to recoup the American moral authority that the constitution protects EVERY AMERICAN regardless of race, gender..... if you can’t stand for that bc u fear it! You LOST!

ggreenwald Not the deal Nancy cut with Steve - er, Kevin. Na. Ga. Hapn.

If his remarks don't deserve censure - then none do - and you should remove that as an option. You know - like impeachment. SteveKing

ggreenwald How can you censure ,King. While the House is totally silent about the blatant anti semitism of 3 of its Democrat members.

what's even the fucking point of the democrats then

As I recall Joseph McCarthy was censured for his repugnant speech. This is about what is acceptable within the US Congress. When Steve King returns to life as a private citizen (hopefully any day now) he will enjoy his 1st amendment right to racist speech.

Lol why? Are you afraid that all the Republicans that vote for you now would bail?

Representative Steve King, should resign. He should have a sense of shame.

ggreenwald

ggreenwald Why aren’t there calls from GOP for Drumpf to resign or be censured (can prez b censured?)for similar comments made? Wait. Don’t answer that. I know the answer.

ggreenwald Be aware, you may not like the new rules! I think Saul Anlinskii may have said that, but I'm not sure of the source.

What Wtf

ggreenwald Democrats love racial preferences, when they’re for preferred races.

How pathetic. And yet milquetoast conservative Democrats are wondering why progressives are gaining more and more power within the democratic party

House rejects white supremacy after Rep. Steve King questioned why language offensiveThe House of Representatives on Tuesday voted Tuesday to reject white supremacy after outrage over Iowa GOP Rep. Steve King questioning why using the term is offensive. How about the elephant in the room? Looks like he’s thinking, “Are they gonna find out about me putting my white sheets in the cleaners for the next rally or my crosses I'm building in my back yard.” The house of representatives had an 'all but one' unanimous vote on this. Getting the house to approve something like this really speaks volumes for how bad this is. This is why we must elect good, qualified people to represent us. Not the shock jock flavor of the week.
