The U.K.-listed investment company today announces it has bought the copyright in 115 McVie songs, which spans 11 No. 1s, two Grammy Award winners and includes the hits “Don’t Stop,” “Everywhere, “You Make Loving Fun,” “Songbird” and “Little Lies.”Fleetwood Mac has sold almost 150 million albums and were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
Hipgnosis acquires the worldwide copyright, ownership and financial interest in McVie's works, including writer’s share, of all compositions and neighboring rights. McVie was represented in negotiations by business manager Paul Glass at The Colony Group, manager Martin Wyatt and lawyer Mario González.
