Pierce County deputies on April 30, 2024, arrested a 33-year-old man who had warrants for failing to show up to court on drug and gun charges. During a search of the man's backpack, deputies say they found 14 grams of methamphetamine, 13 grams of cocaine, 24 grams of fentanyl powder, 100 fentanyl pills, baggies and a scale. Pierce County deputies on Tuesday arrested a 33-year-old man who had warrants for failing to show up to court on drug and gun charges.
The PCSD called the man a "high-priority offender," and said he was booked into jail for his warrants and for the drugs. Prosecutors added three new counts of drug possession with intent to distribute, and his bail was set at $300,000 for all charges, according to the PCSD. A deputy in the FBI's South Sound gang task force spotted the suspect, who was arrested at a gas station on the 9900 block of Golden Given Road East in the Midland area, according to the PCSD.
