When Deontae and Deontre Wright receive diplomas at their high school's commencement Wednesday afternoon, they'll know who to thank for their motivation.
Each other.The identical twins, 17, are the top two students in their graduating class at Scott High School in Toledo, Ohio. Deontae, with a grade-point average of 4.5, is the class valedictorian. Can you skip 47 days of English class and still graduate from high school?At some Maryland high schools, you can. Hundreds of students are excessively absent. If subpoenas are option, I would imagine school is also. pretty sure i did lol S-in-L taught in this district. Students must receive a passing grade whatever their mastery of the subject, attendance, completed work percentage or test scores. The diploma means nothing.
