HBO programming exec mused about the future of the drama 'Big Little Lies,' saying while a third season isn't really in the cards, it's not out of the question, either.

HBO programming president Casey Bloys was on the hot seat at Wednesday's Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills and fielded questions about two of the network's biggest shows:"Game of Thrones" and"Big Little Lies."

Bloys also noted that shooting has wrapped on the highly anticipated"GoT" prequel, starring Naomi Watts. It's still in the editing stages so he hasn't really seen anything yet, but he says it"looks really good, the cast was amazing [and] we're looking forward to it."

Should’ve never made a second season.... absolute garbage

WHAT! BLL 2 seasons is it? To say writers don’t see where the story can go is ridiculous..There’s still unanswered questions.

I thought I had seen season 3 had been green lit by HBO? Guess not

Hate to say it - but I don't think any amount of editorial oversight could have saved what was a very boring, unnecessary, pointless overall story arc. There just should not have been a season 2 at all. Why is this a controversy? That's how TV works.

Nooo There didn’t need to be a season 2, this season brought nothing. It was predictable and boring. I really wonder what the director really had in mind for this season before creative control got taken away. 😐 season 2 was stupid, their court scenes were so unrealistic, Meryl felt forced. They made Madelaine more obnoxious than ever.
