These hired adults are to respond to and diffuse potential student behavioral incidents during these times, but they are not expected to stop physical altercations. The C.A.T.C.H. initiative stated that adults must pass three separate background clearances and submit proof to the school’s HR office before being placed within the school. The program will involve Ngozi, Inc. as a third-party entity handling the volunteers’ contracts and financing.
