Vote by mail deadlines vary by state but the USPS is recommends one week between putting your ballot in the mail and your state’s deadline.

WASHINGTON – The United States Postal Service recommends voters who are using mail-in ballots mail them in by Tuesday, as Tuesday is one week from Election Day.

Regardless, the Postal Service is generally recommending voters allow one week between when they put their completed ballot in the mail and the respective state’s deadline for receiving it. In the context of an election, on-time delivery matters: Missed deadlines are a major reason mail-in ballots are rejected, studies have found. A record number of people are expected to vote by mail this year, according to a Pew Research Center survey over the summer, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

A lawsuit temporarily blocked the operational changes that were criticized as causing delayed mail delivery.

The USPS endorsed Joe Biden. There is ZERO chance they are getting my ballot! Vote in person, folks! Don’t let the Democratic Party & the USPS cheat the American people.

U.S. Supreme Court will not allow extension in Wisconsin mail-in ballot deadlineSiding with Wisconsin's Republican-led legislature, the conservative-majority U.S. Supreme Court refused on Monday to allow an extension ordered by a federal judge in the deadline for returning mail-in ballots in the state, dealing a setback to Democrats. Naturally the courts are not working on the side of the American people. They should be making it easier to vote not harder- how is this not political 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 No shit. Did they hold extra hearings to get this done in time or something? SCOTUS seems to have a very flexible schedule when there's votes to be stopped.

Supreme Court Rejects Pandemic-Spurred Voting Changes in WisconsinThe Supreme Court declined to reinstate pandemic-related changes to voting rules in Wisconsin, a move that means mail-in ballots must be received by Election Day This is what happens when state courts think they are super legislators. Only the state legislature can make laws, the only role of the judicial is to enforce those laws, not change them at their whim. Weird how so much of what the GOP does makes it harder to vote, especially for folks who predominantly vote Democrat. So very weird. Weird weird weird A novel concept. Voting like the rest of us, before the end of Election Day...
