The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating following an officer-involved shooting on Friday evening. In a news briefing on Friday, officials said the shooting occurred in the 14600 block of Henry Road after deputies responded to a call for a family disturbance. Then, officials stated, the suspect started charging at the deputy, and that's when the deputy fired. The suspect was shot multiple times by the deputy, who has been with the department for three years, officials confirmed.
