Hallmark's parent company, Crown Media Family Networks, said it pulled ads forplanning website Zola -- including one that showed a lesbian couple kissing after getting married -- due to complaints from One Million Moms, a conservative group that is a part of the American Family Association.
"Across our brand, we will continue to look for ways to be more inclusive and celebrate our differences," he added. Under pressure from a conservative advocacy group, The Hallmark Channel has pulled the ads for wedding-planning website Zola that featured same-sex couples, including two brides kissing.
"It is never Hallmark’s intention to be divisive or generate controversy. We are an inclusive company and have a track record to prove it. We have LGBTQ greeting cards and feature LGBTQ couples in commercials," the statement said.
I am sorry to hear that. I thought Hallmark was based on God's principles.
I think they were lesbian-themed.
They had no choice but to flip flop. If they show the ad, then there is no issue. If they don't show the ad, then they are in breach of equality and inclusion laws and exposed to potential legal action. It is simply a legal issue and they must comply with the law or else.

Hallmark had a line of greeting cards that celebrated same-sex unions long before same-sex marriage became the law of the land. They had shown themselves to be a company That embraced all kinds of unions and families. So, the decision to pull the ad made no sense to begin with!
I guess Hallmark is going to have to decide once and for all who makes up their audience. Sometimes you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
