The Tournament of Cocktails will take place March 5 at Herb & Wood restaurant in Little Italy

Guy Fieri, the host of Food Network's 'Diners Drive-Ins and Dives,' will be the judge for an all-star cocktail competition on March 5 in San Diego. Fieri will share hosting duties for the Tournament of Cocktails with San Diego chefs Brian Malarkey and Carlos Anthony, who are both now competing on Food Network's 'Tournament of Champions.

Five San Diego bartenders will compete to make the best cocktail prepared with Fieri's Santo Tequila brand. The participants are Jazmin Castañeda from Nolita Hall; Eliza Woodman from Camino Riviera; Joe Bruner from University Club; Bryan Cajamarca from Kettner Exchange; and Giovanni Guerra from Herb & Wood. The top prize is $500. The free event from 6:30 to 9 p.m. March 5 at 2210 Kettner Blvd. is open to adults ages 21 and up. No reservations are necessary.
