This new location is part of Golden Chick’s expansion with several restaurants set to roll out in 2023, the company announced in a press release. The expansion will add over 200Urban Bird Hot Chicken set to open in City Place as part of massive expansion across Houston
“2023 is off to a tremendous start for Golden Chick, and we’re excited to be continuing our success by opening a restaurant in such a rapidly growing area,” Mark Parmelee, president and chairman of Golden Chick, said in the release. “Houston and its suburbs have welcomed us with open arms, and it’s been amazing to see such positive feedback from our loyal customers. We’re looking forward to dishing out delicious chicken creations, and to Ayaz’s success as a Golden Chick franchisee.
Ayaz Ali will be the owner of the new location, located at 747 E. Louetta Rd. in Spring. Ali is a first-time Golden Chick franchisee. “Golden Chick is proud to differentiate ourselves from other brands with our expansive menu, including freshly made salads, chicken salad, roasted chicken, and hand-breaded catfish,” Parmelee said. “Customers in our new Spring location are in for a treat.”
According to the restaurant’s website, more than 30 new locations are coming soon to cities across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Nevada. Several future locations are planned in the Houston area, including another in Spring on Aldine Westfield Road.
