Gemma Atkinson thinks late dad's ghost is in her house and plays tricks on her
Gemma Atkinson believes she has been visited by the ghost of her dad David, who passed away suddenly when she was only 17-years-old
The former Hollyoaks' star's dad David sadly died when she was only 17-years-old.Taking to her Instagram account this week, Gemma, 36, shared that David had been sending her "little messages" around the home she shares with her boyfriend Gorka Marquez and their one-year-old daughter Mia.
In her video she said her coffee machine had switched itself on and one of her pet dogs suddenly started barking.She told her followers: "The coffee machine's just come on on its own. Even the dog's barking."It's just come on on its own."
Gemma said she wasn't scared but actually found it "quite comforting".She admitted that she likes to think that it's her late dad paying her a visit.The mum-of-one continued: "Loads of you saying there's a ghost in the house with the coffee machine. headtopics.com
"Do you know if there was, it wouldn't bother me."Stuff like that doesn't bother me. Gorka hates it."But I actually find it quite comforting, I don't mind."I always think it's my dad playing silly buggers – moving stuff around."
Back in April Gemma marked the 18th anniversary of her dad's sudden passing by sharing pictures of him.She wrote: "18 years ago today my dad passed away very suddenly & unexpectedly. It was horrendous and I used to look back and wonder how I coped.
