Main Boulevard in Prichard looks like a typical neighborhood. It has normal homes and manicured yards.Residents say the building has been unused for years, but the yard has become a storage place for old garbage cans. Neighbors say the property is being used a dumping ground as people come by, leave their trash, and never return to clean it up.
Residents say they have begged for the city to take action since the garbage cans were placed on the property and a population of rats and snakes took residence there. They hope to see the property cleaned up and the grass maintained for the safety of the children that live nearby.
