Wait, Why Can't Wonder Woman Be Plus-Size?Artist Robin Eisenberg reimagined Wonder Woman with a bigger body. A few people saw it as a fat-shaming opportunity — but many comic-book fans loved the interpretation. Not fat shaming, just fact checking. Amazons aren't plus-size, they weren't back in BC, they aren't today. Why can't Hercules be plus-size, because that's not Hercules, the same goes for Amazon women, they aren't plus-size, they are warriors that train several hours daily. How ironic that a magazine based on beauty & attractiveness, is promoting obesity as a goal....From a fictional character. I'm sure every mom and dad wants their little girl to aspire to be 50 lbs overweight & diabetic. While we're at it, let's give Superman a 'dad-bod'. Gross! It's not about fat shaming, at least 4me it isn't. That being said it's about promoting being unhealthy (seems to be a trend as of late) & that in my humble opinion is downright wrong. Furthermore when it comes to WW, how does an out of shape WW fight crime? Simply Amazing? SMDH!
